Operation Greatness #22: "Everything Is Either a Lesson, Blessing AND Opportunity!"

Please LIVE this new empowering perspective we're exploring here together, with several examples you'll relate to your life!

Everything without exception is a Lesson, meant to help you learn more about yourself, your preferences, needs, boundaries, your level of commitment to persevering through the "tests" in achieving something important...

Everything is also a Blessing. It's there to serve you, because it's a Gift, and finding the gift within the things happening, especially those things that you might immediately think of as adversities, stressors, challenges, unwanted situations... helps you receive that Gift, which is likely a big part of why YOU created that situation... RIGHT!?

Everything is also an Opportunity, for you to become stronger, live more true to yourself, to honor your needs, no longer limit yourself, stop playing small, shine your light, expand your impact, give more, serve more people, live more lightly, be more loving, forgiving, gentle with yourself and others... play full out!!!

Most people get on some level that the things happening "to" them ("things" actually happen FOR you, as you're seeing, recognizing the Lesson, as well as the GIFT and also the Opportunity within EVERY last one of them!)...

Are neutral, and it's the stories we make up or "conclude" about those things that determine the impact, if any, those things are having on us.

For example, two sisters who were sexually molested by their father, one "concluded" she was unworthy of love, happiness, success, and her life responded to that non-supportive belief. The other sister refused to let that violation define her & become a very successful (I don't remember the details, maybe lawyer or business woman) with a healthy marriage and happy family...

Everything you would prefer not happen is there to serve you, as a Lesson, as a Gift & also as an Opportunity!!!

Let's take the most pressing thing in your life now.

How is that a Lesson, first? What other lessons is that holding within it for you to see?

On one sense, it is like a notification on your phone, just as pain or illness are, that something you're doing is not harmonious or might be harmful to your body... the same way upset in a relationship reflects disharmony, as well, the need for something to improve, such as for you or your partner to be more loving, forgiving, less judgmental, etc.

Now let's see the Gift within that thing happening. How is that meant to serve you? How are you able to better yourself as a result of facing that challenge and courageously meeting it head on, seeing it through to the end?

It's a Gift because of the person you became through facing it & growing & bettering yourself, right? Like you don't lift weights because it's easy, or climb a mountain because it was "in your way", you climb it to challenge yourself, to overcome that obstacle, right?

What other gifts does that challenge hold within it for you?

Notice, I said "gifts", as in several!

What is the Opportunity within it for you to learn & grow & become more? How can you serve others more effectively, maybe even people suffering through that same adversity you've overcome or are now triumphing over?

What other opportunities lie within this situation to help you honor & fulfill your Reason for Being?

Notice how much more powerful you are as a person, by seeing this situation for what it is, now?
